Third party developers cant spend 3 times as much money and time just to make the PS3 version of games. They can but they should not have to, that is the entire point, Sony screwed up, in their arrogance they thought they didn't need to make their console easy to work with.

Sony's PS3 numbers are down from last January. The console is actually selling less then last year. This is not good for PS3, and it will never catch 360 by selling fewer and fewer units as time goes on.
If someone writes and article bashing 360 you get 2 maybe 3 fanboys defending the 360.
But if someone writes an article not even bashing, but simply not praising the PS3, you get dozens upon dozens of foul mouthed vulgar sleaze bags coming out of the woodwork screaming insults at the author accusing him of being bought off by microsoft, and sometimes even wishing harm or death upon him.

The RROD has been fixed since early 2008. The units that are still failing are all the units sold before Feb of 08. Anything after that is solid. 80% of units that fail from RROD do so in the first year of ownership, if your 360 hasn't failed after a year from RROD, it most likely never will.
